What we collect, and why

Browsing the site

We use no advertising or analytics cookies and no tracking pixels. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address for a short time to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not store IP addresses.

Your cart

A single, strictly necessary cookie remembers the pieces in your cart and the country you chose, for up to 30 days. It holds no name or contact details, so it needs no consent banner.

Orders

When you pay, Stripe collects your name, email, phone number, shipping address and payment details on its secure checkout page. We receive your name, email, phone and shipping address to send your piece and look after your order; we never see your card number. We use this data to perform our contract with you and to meet our accounting and tax obligations. If you leave checkout without paying, we keep no personal data about you.

Custom requests

When you ask for a custom piece, we receive your name, email, country, ring size if you give it, your message and the photos you upload, such as a fingerprint. We use them only to answer your request and make your piece, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. A fingerprint is used only to shape your jewelry, never to identify anyone. We remove location and camera details from photos when we receive them.

Messages and withdrawals

When you write to us or use the withdrawal form, we keep your name, email and message to answer you and, for a withdrawal, to handle your refund.

Spam protection

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending them. It does this without advertising cookies.

Who processes data for us

• Cloudflare: hosting, storage of our database and uploaded photos, and Turnstile.
• Stripe: payments and checkout.
• The courier that delivers your parcel, which receives your name, address and phone.

Each of them acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area; when they do, the transfer is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. If we add an email service or a cookieless visitor counter later, we will list it here first.

How long we keep it

• Photos sent with a custom request: deleted 90 days after the request is closed.
• Custom requests and messages: your name, email and message are erased 12 months after the conversation ends.
• Orders and withdrawals: kept for 3 years after the order is completed, and invoices for as long as tax law requires. A withdrawal we cannot match to an order is kept for 3 years after we last handled it.
• Technical records of payment events: deleted after 90 days.

Your rights

You may ask us to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what we did before. To use any of these rights, write to us. We reply within one month.

If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live or work. We would be grateful for the chance to put things right first.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection, access to our systems is limited to the people who make and send your pieces, and we keep personal data out of logs.

Children

Our shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
