1. Who we are

Con el Alma is a small jewelry atelier. These terms apply to every order placed on conelalma.co and to every custom piece we agree to make for you. The business behind Con el Alma is:

2. Our pieces

Our pieces are handcrafted, most of them in silver and some in brass, bronze or copper, and many are set with natural gemstones or pearls. The materials of each piece are listed on its page. Each piece in the shop exists only once, so the piece in the photos is the piece you receive.

Natural gemstones vary in colour, inclusions and shape, and handcrafted metal carries small marks of the hand that made it. These are part of the piece, not faults. We photograph each piece in daylight and describe its materials as accurately as we can. Screens show colour differently, so if a detail matters to you, write to us before you buy and we will send more photos.

3. Prices and payment

• Prices are in euros (EUR) and are the final price of the piece.
• Shipping is shown in your cart once you choose a destination country, before you pay.
• Outside the European Union, import duties and taxes may be charged by your local customs on delivery. They are not included in our prices and are paid by the recipient.
• Some pieces show "Price on request". They can't be bought online yet; ask us about them and we will reply personally.
• Payment is taken by card through Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

4. How an order is made

When you continue to payment, the pieces in your cart are held for you for up to 30 minutes while you complete checkout. If payment is not completed in that time, the hold ends and the pieces return to the shop.

Your order is accepted, and the contract between us is formed, when your payment is confirmed. We then send a confirmation to the email address you gave at checkout. If a piece turns out not to be available after all, we tell you straight away and refund the full amount.

5. Delivery

We ship worldwide by tracked courier to the countries offered at checkout. Rates, dispatch and delivery times are listed on our shipping and returns page. The piece is your responsibility from the moment it is delivered to you or to a person you name. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, write to us and we will make it right.

6. Your right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the piece, without giving any reason. Use our withdrawal form or write to us before the 14 days are over. We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of hearing from you. We may wait until the piece is back with us or until you show that you have sent it. The cost of sending the piece back is yours. The right of withdrawal does not apply to pieces made to your own specification or clearly personalised, such as fingerprint pieces.

7. Custom and made-to-order pieces

When you send a custom request, we reply with the details, a price and a making time. Nothing is binding until you accept our proposal in writing and pay as agreed. Because each custom piece is made for one person, it can't be returned, but if something is wrong with it, we will repair or remake it.

8. Guarantee

You have the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery. If a piece has a defect that was present when you received it, write to us and we will repair or replace it, or refund you where that is not possible. Normal wear, knocks, contact with chemicals, and the natural darkening of silver and warm metals are not defects. Our care guide explains how to keep each piece at its best.

9. Photos and designs

The designs, photos and texts on this site belong to Con el Alma. Please ask before using them anywhere else. Sharing a link to a piece is always welcome.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen.

11. Complaints and applicable law

If something is not right, please write to us first; we will look for a fair solution together. These terms are governed by the law of the country where Con el Alma is established. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim before the courts there.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
